How do I Inform Patients of my Cancelation Policy?
Do you have a cancelation policy you'd like your patients to know about? Here's how to do that.
There are three ways you can inform your patients of you cancellation policy:
- The Card Capture for Policy Enforcement feature will inform you patients of your cancelation policy as well as require them to provide their credit card information at the time of booking. The clinic will be able to use the card on file if a patient cancels late or no-shows. You can learn more about the Card Capture for Policy Enforcement feature here.
- If you're not utilizing the Card Capture for Policy Enforcement feature & you want your patients to know about the policy before they book the appointment, you can add it into the description of your service within Clinic Settings > Clinic Services.
- You can inform them in their email confirmation or reminders by customizing the text of them in Clinic Settings > Notification Settings. Click Customize next to the confirmation/email reminders and enter your policy anywhere within this message template. This will inform your patients of the policy after they book their appointment.
