Which iPad Should I Be Using With Unified Practice?
Unified Practice works best with both a computer and a laptop, since billing features aren't available on the iPad alone. The iPad can still be very useful for charting, especially in a clinical setting where you can easily create SOAP notes and manage patient records on the go. However, for full functionality, particularly for managing billing and other administrative tasks, a laptop or desktop will provide a more complete experience.
When picking out your iPad, we recommend the iPad Air 3rd generation or newer. Here’s a list of compatible iPads:
- iPad Air (3rd generation or newer)
- iPad Mini (5th generation or newer)
- iPad (6th generation or newer)
- iPad Pro (all models)
Be sure to check with the store to confirm that the iPad you choose can update to the latest iOS (minimum iOS 15).
You can also go with any laptop device, whether it’s Apple, Windows, or Chrome – all are compatible with Unified Practice!
