What is UnifiedPay?
Learn how UnifiedPay helps you securely accept payments, simplify payment processing, and manage payment activity—all within Unified Practice
UnifiedPay is Unified Practice's fully integrated payment processing solution. It brings payment processing, patient payments, and reporting together within Unified Practice, making it easy to accept payments and manage your practice's payment activity in one place.
With UnifiedPay, you can:
- Collect, apply, and manage patient payments directly within Unified Practice.
- Send secure payment invoices by email or text message.
- Optionally require a payment method when booking appointments to help protect your schedule from cancellations and no-shows.
Collect Payments
Accept patient payments directly within Unified Practice. Payments can be applied to services and products, helping keep your billing and payment records organized in one place.
A payment terminal isn't required. You can manually enter card information or process payments using a securely saved card on file. If you'd like to accept chip, tap, swipe, Apple Pay, or Google Pay payments, optional wireless terminal devices are available for purchase or lease.
UnifiedPay accepts credit, debit, and eligible HSA/FSA cards branded with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover.
Payment Invoices
Make it easy for patients to pay by sending secure payment invoices by email or text message.
After a payment is completed, the patient's payment method is securely saved to their record, making future payments faster and more convenient for both your staff and your patients.
Card Capture for Policy Enforcement
Help protect your schedule by requiring patients to provide a payment method when booking an appointment.
You can customize the feature by service, choose which appointments require a payment method, define your cancellation window, and set cancellation or no-show fees based on your clinic's policies.
Reporting and Funding Details
Stay on top of your payment activity with access to transaction history, deposits, processing fees, funding details, and merchant statements—all within Unified Practice.
Because payment activity is connected to your patient records, it's easy to review payment history, search for transactions, and reconcile deposits without switching between separate systems.
Support and Training
Whether you're getting started or have questions along the way, the UnifiedPay team is here to help.
We provide onboarding, payment-related support, and training to help your practice get the most out of UnifiedPay.
If you choose to use a UnifiedPay wireless terminal, 24/7 technical support is included with all leased or purchased devices.
Secure Payment Processing
Protect your patients' payment information with secure payment processing.
UnifiedPay uses encryption and tokenization to help safeguard sensitive payment information while supporting PCI compliance requirements.
