What is PCI compliance?

  • PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a set of security requirements designed to help protect cardholder data.
  • All merchants that accept credit or debit card payments are required to maintain PCI compliance, regardless of the size of their business.

Who is SecurityMetrics?

  • SecurityMetrics provides the PCI compliance program for UnifiedPay. They provide the tools and support needed to complete and maintain PCI compliance requirements.

How do I log in to my SecurityMetrics account?

  • After your first UnifiedPay deposit, SecurityMetrics will send a welcome email with instructions for creating your password and accessing the SecurityMetrics portal. This email is typically sent about 10 days after your first deposit.
  • Once you've received the welcome email, you can access the SecurityMetrics portal here:

If you haven't received the welcome email about 10 days after your first UnifiedPay deposit, or you're unable to access the SecurityMetrics portal, contact SecurityMetrics using the contact information at the end of this article.


What is the PCI Management Fee?

  • The PCI Management Fee is the monthly fee associated with the SecurityMetrics PCI compliance program. The program provides the tools and support needed to complete and maintain your PCI compliance requirements.

What is the PCI Non-Compliance Fee?

  • The PCI Non-Compliance Fee is assessed when PCI compliance requirements haven't been completed.
  • To complete your PCI compliance requirements, log in to the SecurityMetrics portal. The portal will guide you through the steps needed to complete the annual Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and any other applicable PCI compliance requirements.
  • If you have questions about the process or your PCI compliance requirements, contact SecurityMetrics.

How can I check my PCI compliance status?

  • Log in to your SecurityMetrics account. Your current PCI compliance status is displayed on your main dashboard.
  • If your status is Passing, you can also download your PCI compliance certificate from the Reports section of your dashboard.

Why am I receiving emails saying I'm not PCI compliant?

  • SecurityMetrics sends reminder emails if your PCI compliance requirements haven't been completed or verified.
  • Log in to the SecurityMetrics portal to review your PCI compliance status and complete any outstanding requirements.

Who should I contact if I need help with PCI compliance?

SecurityMetrics is UnifiedPay's dedicated PCI compliance support team. Specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to assist with PCI compliance questions.
