Set Up Your Inventory

Getting your Inventory set up to sell is easy! Here's how.


 

 



Add the Inventory Items


Add Inventory Button

Navigate to the Inventory tab. Click the Add Inventory Item button in the upper right corner of the page. The following information will can to entered for each Inventory Item:

  • Item name - Name of the item

  • Dictionary item connection - Connect to our Reference Data items. It will help you make prescriptions easily.

  • Item CodeUsed if you assign a code to each item in your inventory (optional)

  • Category - Group items into predefined categories or add additional categories by pressing the '+' sign

  • Medium - Define the medium from our predefined mediums (granules, raw, pills etc) or add additional mediums by pressing the '+' sign

  • Units (Units of Measurement) - The unit used to sell the item (grams, ounces, pills etc.). If you do not see a Unit of Measurement you use, please let us know

  • Avg Unit Cost - The average cost of the inventory on hand. If the cost of new inventory is different from previous cost, we will automatically calculate the average cost of the inventory

  • Unit Sales Price - Retail price customers are being charged that will appear on the invoice

  • QoH (Quantity on Hand) - Quantity of Units currently in stock

  • Taxable - Set to yes or no for each item. To save time, enter the tax rate once and it will be available for each item by pressing the '+' sign

  • Manufacturer - Record the manufacturer of the item (optional)

  • Supplier - Record the supplier where this item was purchased from (optional)

  • Location - The location of the item if there are multiple locations

Status - Set each item to active or inactive. Active items are available to be added to the invoice

Search Inventory:

  • Once all Inventory items are added, you can search items in the search bar as well as filter by location.
