      Lead-generation Chat Widget

      Learn about the Lead-generation Chat Widget integration for Clinic Websites!

       

      Please Note:

      To use this feature, you must have UnifiedPay along with an Enhanced or Premium subscription plan.

      What is it?

      The Lead-Generation Chat Widget is an integrated HIPAA-compliant chat feature that enables you to directly communicate to potential patients outside of the Patient Portal
      • Benefit from an increased number of leads by providing a direct communication channel for potential patients - therefore driving more business to your clinic!
      • Easy activation of the chat widget add-on through a dedicated page within our platform (the embedded HTML code will be supplied to your clinic to integrate the chat widget to your website)

      How does it work?

      • Once the Chat Widget feature has been enabled and the HTML code has been embedded into your website, a speech bubble will appear in the lower right-hand of your webpage.
      • When a visitor on your website clicks the speech bubble, a text box will appear prompting them to provide their full name, email, and contact number. They can then send any additional text messages.
      • Incoming messages will appear in the 'Chat' module from the app of your choice (Web, iPad, iPhone, Android) and be sent to any online front-desk users. 
          • If there are no front-desk users online/available, the message will go to any offline front-desk users. If there are no front-desk users, the message will go to the practitioner(s).
      • Outgoing messages from the clinic will be visible to the visitor within the Chat Widget, as long as the Chat Widget remains open and active.

      How to activate the Chat Widget:

      • To enable this feature, you must have an Enhanced or Premium Subscription along with an active UnifiedPay account.
          • For more information on upgrading your subscription or learning more about UnifiedPay, please send an email to payments@unifiedpractice.com
      • Navigate to the left hand icon menu and click Add-ons.

      • Enable the toggle for Embed Chat Widget. This will reveal the embedded code.

      • Copy into Clipboard the entire code displayed under the toggle

      How to embed the Chat Widget code onto your website:

      Depending on the platform on which your website is designed, there are multiple ways to get the code into your website.

      Please provide these instructions to your webdesign team for guidance.
