How to use voice dictation to fill your SOAP notes

You can use the iPad's native voice dictation tool to fill free text fields on your Unified Practice EHR for TCM charting app. 

1. Make sure your iPad is not connected to an external or Bluetooth keyboard.

2. Click the free text icon (pen & paper) to the upper right of any field within the SOAP note/Intake form

3. Using the on screen iPad keyboard, touch the microphone icon to the right of the spacebar.

4. Begin speaking and you will see the free text field fill.

5. Make any corrections needed by tapping into the free text field.
