How Do I Create an Acupuncture Protocol on the iPad?

Navigate to the Patient List and select a patient. Tap Continue or Begin Intake

Tap the AcuRx section of the SOAP note

Add your acupoints, add sets (optional) and durations of those sets (optional)

Tap Save Protocol in the upper right hand corner

Use keyboard to name protocol and tap Save protocol
How do I Apply a Single Protocol?

Within the AcuRx section of the SOAP note tap the green Protocols tab

View list of protocols you have created and saved

Tap the protocol you want, and then the points, sets, and durations will appear as you saved them

How Do I Apply Multiple Protocols (i.e. stacking)?

Within the AcuRx section of the SOAP note tap the green Protocols tab

View list of protocols you have created and saved

Tab the protocol you want, and then the points, sets, and durations will appear as you saved them

Repeat until you have added desired protocols
NOTE: After adding more than one protocol all sets and durations are cleared except "Set 1"

Once you finished adding protocols tap Add Set if you want to split the points into sets

On the left you will see a list of points. Hold your finger over the 3 horizontal lines at the edge of the set header or acupoint in that list and drag them up or down in any order that you see fit.
How to Edit a Protocol
To edit a Protocol, you will need to re-save it under a different name. Tap on Protocols, enter the protocol, then make your changes. Once your changes are complete, save that protocol.
Important Note:
You can re-save the protocol under the same name, but you will need to be aware of which protocol is the newly saved one.
How to Delete a Protocol
To delete a protocol, tap on Protocols in the top right of the screen, and then swipe left.
