      How Do I Enable The Insurance Verification Service?

      Here's how to turn on Insurance Verification service:

      1. Go to Account
      2. Click Subscriptions
      3. Under Add ons switch the toggle ON for "Insurance Verification".




      After Terms & Conditions have been accepted, a prompt to Update Service Details will show as followed:

      1. Clinic Tax Identification & NPI - filled in automatically from your Unified Practice account. You can edit these fields if necessary.
      2. "Automatic rechecks for all recurring patients" - leave this checkbox "Off" if you desire to send manual rechecks (recommended). If enabled, it will trigger automatic rechecks for all appointments booked for existing patients.

      Setting up Insurance Verification: 

      1. Check the box for each provider in the clinic that would like to join the Insurance Verification program. Fill in the additional details listed below for each Practitioner.
      2. Practitioner tax ID & NPI
      3. In-network insurance companies - Choose these from your Insurance Companies List.
      4. Service name
      5. CPT codes - up to 5; Please select from your predefined list of CPT codes in the clinic.
      6. Fill in the optional fields (recommended)

      Pro Tip: If you have not yet set up your Insurance Companies list, we advise you do so before setting up Insurance Verification. To do this, navigate to Clinic Settings > Insurance Companies and click Add Insurance Company in the top right corner of the screen. Fill in just the insurance name field and come back to continue afterwards. Go back to the previous tab with the IV service details and select the list of insurance companies you're in-network with.


      If the clinic is Out Of Network with all insurance companies, select that option by clicking in the box under "In-Network Insurance Companies"


      When finished, click Enable to complete Insurance Verification set up.
