How Do I Activate and Use Fullscript?

Setting up the Unified Practice + Fullscript Integration

The Unified Practice integration with Fullscript uses oAuth to set up and activate the integration. 

This integration is unique in that the practitioner doesn’t need to go to a specific page to activate the integration. When the provider wants to recommend supplements through Fullscript for the first patient, the integration will request an oAuth step. Afterwhich, the provider can recommend supplements through Fullscript from the same spot. 

  1. Log into Unified Practice, click a patient profile (either through your calendar or under “All Patients”).
  2. Click on Begin Intake or Continue Intake

    3. Scroll down to “Plans Herbs - RX”, where you will find a Fullscript RX button

    4. Use your Fullscript credentials to log in and then click on Authorize Application.  You will need an existing Fullscript account to do this.

Note: All practitioners will be able to authorize their Fullscript account, regardless of account owner.

Click on Clinic Settings > Clinic Staff > Details on the user page.
  2. Scroll down to Fullscript User and use the dropdown to select your Fullscript user then click on “submit” at the bottom.

Creating a Fullscript Recommendation

The Unified Practice integration with Fullscript uses the Fullscript redirect button to write Fullscript recommendations. This means that practitioners will be redirected in a new browser tab to their Fullscript account to write the Fullscript recommendation versus writing it in the Unified Practice platform.  This recommendation is then saved in the patient chart as well as within your Fullscript account. 

  1. Go to the any client profile, into the intake form. Scroll down to “Plans Herbs - RX”, and click on the Fullscript RX button.

  2. This redirects in a new tab to writing a Fullscript recommendation for the specific client on your Fullscript account. Patient information, including contact information is transferred to Fullscript.  It functions exactly like the Fullscript recommendation on your Fullscript account. You are able to add products from categories, templates and the product search before clicking on Send to Client.
  3. Go back to the Unified Practice patient profile page and click on the Refresh button next to the Fullscript RX button to see the new recommendation added to the Unified Practice patient page under “Plans Herbs - RX”.
